Neumann Equipment trawler gantry winch units are very versatile with their compact design, making them suitable for various operations. The hydraulic system controls the dynamic drum braking, while the fail-safe multi-disc brake locks the stationary drum. As a result, drum speed is variable, and there are no external moving parts, as the input drive and drum lock are totally enclosed and lubricated by the gearbox lubricant.
The gantry winch drive system combined with our updated winch design has been fully FEA engineered to withstand the high demands and day to day stresses applied by the Commercial Fishing Industry. As a result, we can design and manufacture a gantry winch to perfectly meet your requirements.

All of our trawler gantry winch designs are verified using Finite Element Analysis (FEA), manufactured and tested to meet industry/marine industry standards. They are Built Tough and Designed to Last!

Standard Inclusions:
- Reduction drive gearbox.
- Fail-safe multi-disc spring-applied brake.
- Winch drums are supported with a fully sealed self-aligning bearing (if applicable).
- Rope terminator to suit wire rope.
- Carbon steel construction.
- All components are of high quality for many years of service.
- All components are grit blasted and primed with two-pack epoxy primer and finished with heavy-duty two-pack epoxy polyamine marine coatings.
