Jessica Mauboy has lent her voice and is hitting the "buy local" high notes as the newly-named ambassador of Australian Made Week 2024. Running from 20 – 26 May, the annual event aims to celebrate all that Australians create, with the home-grown singer songwriter encouraging us to prioritise buying products bearing the iconic Australian Made green and gold kangaroo logo.
Australian Made licensees were centre-stage at the Sydney AGHA Gift & Home Expo in February, with the iconic Australian Made Pavilion an essential stop for all attendees.
As shoppers take this time in February to shop for the people they love, the Australian Made Campaign is urging consumers to look for products certified with the iconic green and gold kangaroo and share the love with Aussie makers and growers.
New research from Roy Morgan shows Australian businesses are prioritising locally made products, with more than four in five stating they buy Australian-made goods wherever possible.
Australian Made businesses continue to impress, with many being awarded for their innovations and excellence in 2023. The Australian Made Campaign would like to congratulate these hardworking licensees for their achievements and hard work.
