Australian Made is proud to be part of News Australia’s newly launched ‘Back Australia: It’s Good For All Of Us’ initiative - a nationwide campaign uniting consumers and businesses to help build a stronger, more prosperous future for our country.
Launched this week, ‘Back Australia’ aims to empower Australians to make informed choices that support local industry, boost the economy, and celebrate the very best of Australia. Through engaging stories and practical guidance, the campaign shows that choosing Australian-made products isn’t just good for business - it’s good for all of us.
News Corp Australasia Executive Chairman Michael Miller said the campaign will bring together Australians and local businesses with a shared ambition of building a positive future.
“At a time of rapid change and uncertainty, the ‘Back Australia’ campaign will unite businesses with Australians through a shared ambition: building a positive future. For consumers, the campaign will make everyday spending choices feel purposeful and powerful. For brands, it's an opportunity to be part of the solution,” said Mr Miller.
“When you choose Australian, you’re backing our people, our companies, our stories and our future. It’s undeniably ours. And it's good for all of us.”
As a Partner of the campaign, Australian Made will play a central role in highlighting the importance of choosing products that carry the trusted green and gold kangaroo logo.
Australian Made Chief Executive Ben Lazzaro said the campaign complements Australian Made’s ongoing work to support local makers.
“Choosing a product with the Australian Made logo means more than just making a purchase. It means backing products made to some of the highest safety and manufacturing standards in the world, while also supporting local jobs, local businesses, and the future of our communities.
It’s a simple decision with a powerful impact. Every time you buy an Australian Made product, you’re helping to strengthen our economy, support skilled workers, and ensure Australia continues to make the things we rely on.”
The campaign will be promoted through News Australia’s media network, spanning titles such as The Australian, news.com.au, The Daily Telegraph, Herald Sun, The Courier-Mail, The Advertiser, and lifestyle platforms like Taste.com.au, Escape and Body+Soul.
