No one knows the importance of a good pool day quite like Queenslanders. In a climate that enjoys outdoor living all year-round, you don’t have to look far to see families spending countless hours swimming, entertaining and relaxing around the backyard pool. Enviroswim is a South East Queensland manufacturer dedicated to making eco-friendly and sustainable pool solutions that help everyone enjoy a better-quality pool experience.

Founded over 25 years ago in a Gold Coast garage, the idea behind Enviroswim was simple – to create a healthier, more natural alternative to traditional chlorine pool systems. Frustrated by the skin irritation, sore eyes, strong chemical odours and ongoing maintenance of traditional chlorine pools, the Enviroswim team began developing their own system to give families a healthier alternative.

The local team designs, engineers and manufactures the Enviroswim ES3 system in South East Queensland. Local manufacturing allows Enviroswim to retain control over product quality, component selection, assembly, testing and ongoing product development. It also enables the company to respond directly to customer feedback and provide technical support from people who understand both the product and Australian pool conditions.

With technology that has been rigorously tested and validated by government and independent laboratories, Enviroswim’s patented three-stage treatment process combines controlled ionisation, electronic oxidisation and ultrasonics. Each stage performs a distinct role in delivering exceptional water
quality. Together, these technologies help maintain clear, high-quality pool water while substantially reducing reliance on conventional pool chemicals. The result provides a freshwater swimming experience designed for people seeking excellent water quality without their pool feeling or smelling heavily chlorinated.

“As a family owned and operated business, we believe that families deserve a better way to swim than what they experience with harsh pool chemicals,” said founder Gary Stutt. “Our goal is to help Australians enjoy their pools with greater confidence and comfort, while reducing their exposure to unnecessary chemicals.”

With its reduced reliance on harsh chemicals, the Enviroswim system is a popular choice for Australians with sensitive skin, helping them enjoy more comfortable time in the water. “It’s so rewarding when we hear stories of families using our product and rediscovering the joy of swimming together,” said Gary.

“One of the most meaningful impacts we have is helping children who have skin conditions like eczema or psoriasis. Traditional chemicals can often aggravate sensitive skin or eyes, but since Enviroswim reduces the need for harsh chemicals, we’re creating a gentler swimming environment that they can fully enjoy and be comfortable in.”

Enviroswim supplies systems to markets throughout Asia, the Middle East, Europe and the United States, North America including installations in luxury resorts, wellness eco retreats, private residences, commercial facilities and Aquatic centres.

“As demand for sustainable pool technology continues to grow internationally, we’re proud to say that Enviroswim is showcasing Australia’s reputation on the global stage for being high quality, reliable and sustainable technology innovation,” said Gary.

“International customers are selecting Enviroswim because of the swimming experience, the technology, the build quality and the support behind it. Being Australian Made gives them additional confidence in where the product comes from and how it is manufactured.”

Enviroswim works closely with local suppliers, pool builders and technicians to help customers achieve their ideal pool, with expert support every step of the way. The family-owned business is proud to support a local supply chain and is committed to retaining the skills and knowledge developed over decades.

A trusted family business built on strong family values, Enviroswim continues to champion the importance of supporting local in all aspects of business, from their manufacturing and supply chain to their network of partners and customers.

The Australian Made logo has been proudly displayed on each Enviroswim system since 2020, representing the business’ commitment to local manufacturing, and the trust that customers have in the product.

“It’s important that all consumers choose Australian Made products to help local businesses, protect Australian jobs and strengthen our manufacturing industry. When you buy something certified Australian Made, you’re choosing something that’s backed by local expertise that understands Australian conditions,” said Gary.

“In an industry increasingly dominated by imported products, the Australian Made logo helps customers identify that our product is genuinely manufactured in Australia and made to our high standards. It reflects our support for local jobs, Australian innovation, and it’s a real mark of pride.”
