The AUS-E® Solar Highway consists of point-to-point networks of aesthetic "Off-Grid" stylised Solar Tree panel arrays which power battery cells and supply on-demand vehicle recharging to our "rapid charge" electric vehicle recharging stations; with the additional provision for complimentary solar and wind trees alongside complimentary outdoor tables and benches.
NB: In addition to Government and industry subsidies, in commercial environments all vehicle charging costs can be offset with a unique payment App or via swiping any number of charge cards, where payments are settled via charge card, bank debit or credit card.
Where possible, owners are billed per kWh (kilowatt-hour). In other areas, we bill for the service per minute. When billing per minute, there are two tiers to account for changes in charging speeds, called “tier 1” and “tier 2”.
Tier 1 applies while cars are charging at or below 60 kW, and
Tier 2 applies while cars are charging above 60 kW.
Tier 1 is half the cost of tier 2. Tier 1 and where applicable, also applies anytime vehicles share Tesla Supercharger power with another vehicle. Pricing to use a Supercharger may vary by location, and prices may change from time to time. All "Tap & Go" prices include taxes and fees.
