Australian Made is proud to be part of News Corp Australia’s nationwide ‘Back Australia: It’s Good For All Of Us’ campaign again, helping shine a spotlight on local businesses, makers and manufacturers.
To align with Australian Made Week (18-24 May), News Corp Australia reignited the Back Australia campaign this month with a new wave of content celebrating the unique stories of Australian manufacturers and encouraging consumers to support local businesses through their everyday purchasing decisions.
‘Back Australia’ is a national initiative uniting consumers and businesses around a shared goal: building a stronger, more prosperous future for Australia. Through engaging storytelling and practical guidance, the campaign empowers Australians to make informed choices that support local industry, strengthen the economy and celebrate the very best of Australian manufacturing.
As a Partner of the campaign, Australian Made continues to play a central role in promoting the importance of choosing products that carry the trusted green and gold kangaroo logo. This includes supporting the many activations and events that formed part of Australian Made Week 2026.
Australian Made Chief Executive Ben Lazzaro said Australians can make a meaningful difference every day by choosing products with the Australian Made logo.
“When you see that green and gold kangaroo, you’re backing a fellow Aussie’s business and helping keep jobs and manufacturing in our own backyard,” he said.
“It’s a small swap in our shopping trolleys that can have massive impacts for the nation.”
The latest phase of the ‘Back Australia’ campaign included a double-page spread in the Herald Sun and Daily Telegraph, several feature articles showcasing Australian Made licensees and the stories behind their locally made products, as well as advertising content promoting the Australian Made logo and encouraging shoppers to buy Australian Made products.
