The Australian Made, Australian Grown logo is a powerful marketing tool, recognised by 99% of consumers. It helps businesses, large and small, effectively brand their products as ‘Australian’ to shoppers, businesses and government.

As an Australian Made licensee, you can capitalise on the power of the logo in a wide variety of ways. From product packaging to digital promotions, here are 10 effective ways to use the Australian Made logo!

1. Product packaging

Place the logo prominently on your product labels, boxes, bottles, wrappers, or include Australian Made swing tags. This helps shoppers instantly recognise your product as genuinely Australian. Log in to your Australian Made account to download the logo artwork.

Read the dos and don’ts of adding the logo to packaging here.

2. Point-of-sale and retail promotions

Did you know 84% of Australians are more likely to buy a product if they know it's Australian Made? Use the logo on in-store signage, display stands, shelf wobblers, and posters. It draws attention to your product and reinforces your local credentials right where customers make their purchasing decisions. For more information, check out the In-store and Retail Promotion Guide.

3. Website and Online store

Showcase the logo on product pages, relevant homepage banners, and your ‘About Us’ section – where applicable. Customers often look for trust signals when making online purchases, so this can be especially powerful for e-commerce businesses.

4. Social Media content

Feature the logo in your social media posts, videos, stories and advertisements promoting licensed Australian Made products. Doing so can help to strengthen the appeal of your content among consumers who value and prioritise locally made goods. You can also pair it with hashtags like #AustralianMade #SupportLocal.

5. Email marketing and newsletters

Add the logo to promotional emails and e-newsletters related to licensed Australian Made products – you can even add it to your company email signatures, where applicable. It's another way to showcase your Aussie credentials and promote your commitment to local manufacturing.

6. Media releases

When pitching stories to media outlets or journalists, be sure to include the Australian Made logo on any releases about licensed products. Featuring the iconic green and gold kangaroo logo can help your release stand out and add a sense of trust and authority with the use of a certification mark!

7. Tender documents and proposals

Include the Australian Made logo in submissions to government or business tenders. Many businesses recognise the advantages of choosing a local option, such as reducing supply chain risks and faster turnaround times, and therefore prefer to work with local suppliers.  A recent Roy Morgan business study found that more than four in five Australian businesses try to buy Australian-made products whenever possible.

8. Trade Shows & Expos

Use the logo on your signage, banners, and handouts related to licensed Australian Made products. This can help attract interest and create a competitive edge when presenting your business to new buyers.

9. Behind-the-scenes videos and advertising materials

Incorporate the logo into commercials, product videos, or behind-the-scenes content to reinforce your message of Australian authenticity and support for local industry.

You can also choose to be part of the Australian Makers video series – a unique, co-branded opportunity for licensees to showcase your Australian Made products in a documentary-style video. Click here for more information, or email Jackie Fuller at jackie.fuller@australianmade.com.au.
