16 coloured pages!
2nd book in a series of 13 beautifully illustrated children's books of iconic Australian creatures.

Firstly, the children’s frog picture book is about green tree frogs. Gilbert is searching for his friend Croaky in many different locations. Therefore, he is starting to look around the neighbourhood. So, where is Croaky?

Cassy is standing under a vine. Gilbert is jumping on her back to ask if she has seen Croaky. She is a character from Cassy’s Tale.

A beautifully illustrated Cairns birdwing butterfly complements the scenery. Cassy doesn’t know where Croaky could be and suggests looking at the rock pool.

He searches the local pond and finds other frogs hiding. They are peeking from behind lush leaves. Croaky isn’t one of them. A stunning bright Azure kingfisher is looking for his next meal.

Next, Gilbert searches in a nearby house in the kitchen. Frogs are living behind hanging pots and pans. Croaky isn’t there and the frogs suggest looking in the bathroom.

Many green tree frogs are hiding in the toilet cistern. Again, Croaky wasn’t there either. Gilbert joins the other frogs, so he doesn’t get squished by the toilet lid during flushing.

After, Gilbert goes outside. Tree frogs are sitting on a fence. They are telling him Croaky was going to the old shed. There, Tinker is living in an old downpipe and pops her head out. She suggests looking in the garden.

Finally, the friends reunite.

This frog picture story book includes many humorous illustrations. They include caterpillars on a fence, a gecko, Rainbow lorikeet, Cairns Birdwing and Ulysses butterfly from Lyssie the Butterfly. Furthermore, many tropical rainforest plants including Licuala palms, tree ferns, vines, palms and ferns are featured.

The Australian Green Tree frog is native to northern and eastern parts of Australia.
