This product needs to be used on compatible logs. We sell the right size of dowel inoculation drill bit in store for these.

Logs take 6 months to 1 year to colonise, depending on the species and will fruit when the season is right. Keep your logs consistently moist.

These dowels have grooves in them, which gives them a perfect spot for the mycelium to hide when they are inserted in the logs, keeping them safe from friction or rubbing on insertion.

We recommend 20 dowels for a 60cm log with 18cm diameter as a minimum.

Size of dowel 8*25mm

Get everything you need for your projects in our listing for Grow Mushroom on Logs, check it out and Enjoy
