Our latest release is the Cable King Multi MK VII Cable Reclaimer it incorporates all the previous features required for the reclamation and distribution of electrical cable designed to CAT 966, CAT 988k, CAT 988, CAT 980H IT loaders.
QUICK CHANGE AXLE
The quick change axle is still included in the build. The design of the quick change assembly does not allow the attachment to carry loaded drums on rough surfaces at speed. Only recognized Tradespersons should convert the attachment from fixed drum to the quick change axle option – Instructions can be found in the manual.
OPERATION
In all working conditions it is important to operate the loader at the lowest engine RPM, this will reduce the heat generated in the hydraulic system and allow the ground speed from the loader to be manageable with reeling speed.
All late model loaders have a load sensed hydraulic system which can be adjusted to suit the attachment requirements – Service Bulletin 003.
DRUM SPEED
The drum speed has been set to the ordered design and will require no adjustment unless the drum has been changed to one of the other supplied and certified options. In that case the drum speed can be altered by a qualified Service Technician – Contact OEM for adjustment procedure.
Engineering design will allow for raising or lowering cable to the designed and engineered weights. Smaller size cable can also be reclaimed, lowered or raised using the SWL of the intended IT loader.
Modification by others to the Cable King Multi MK VII will change our engineering design and therefore Parkes Hydraulic Services PL will not accept any responsibility for liquidated damage or loss. In all cases operation should be followed from instruction found in our manual.
