The 400-4 MK VI Cable King Quick Hitch Reeler Reclaimer is designed as a quick hitch attachment for the reclamation and distribution of electrical cable and can be alternately ordered to suit all Integrated Tool Carriers, Front End Loaders, Tele Handlers & Fork Lift machines. 400-4 MK VI Calculations and Engineered design state the purpose of use and is not to be used for any alternate use other than reclaiming and laying electrical cable.

The 400-4 MK VI is a hydraulic powered attachment secured in position with a quick hitch arrangement which means connection to the applied loader is fast with connection to the two axillary hydraulic lines, correct hydraulic application should be understood for trouble free operation.

We have four (4) options available for consideration all base models are available to be adapted into the 400-4 MK VI base frame.

Option 1 – Base Model - Quick Change Axle
Base Model – supplied with quick change axle this allows wooden drums to be used to reclaim used electrical cable for storage purpose, the loaded drum can be quickly removed from the reeler reclaimer, spare empty drums can be quickly installed to continue reclaiming - Transport of loaded drums in this mode of operation is not recommended.

Option 2 – Heavy Duty Certified Drum # CK15080-D1
Cable bend radius 400mm
Maximum Load Axle & Drum Assembly 2400kg With Load Factor of 5.

A Fixed Axle Certified Drum is supplied with the Quick Change Axle option as standard. The Reeler Reclaimer can be used to Transport, reclaim cable from a lay-down area or directly recovered after removal from a previous location, transported and relayed in a new location, this greatly reduces the purchase cost of new cable. Using the certified drum also allows cable to be installed vertically down or reclaimed vertically up when the cable weight in itself is to the weights calculated in the Engineering Certificates supplied with the 400-4 MK VI Manual. No consideration has been allowed for any other purpose other than the cable weight itself.

Option 3 – Heavy Duty Certified Drum # CK15080-D2
Cable bend radius 600mm
Maximum Load Axle & Drum Assembly 1140kg With Load Factor of 5.

Option 4 – Free Wheeling Drum # FW15080
Cable bend radius 400mm
Maximum Load Axle & Drum Assembly 1350kg With Load Factor of 5.

The 400-4 MK VI is also available with the option of a Certified Free Wheeling drum – This option allows the drum to work in the locked position as a fixed drum or can be disengaged to freewheel. The freewheeling drum can be used to transport, reclaim cable from a laydown area or directly recovered after removal from a previous location transported and relayed in a new location, this greatly reduces the purchase cost of new cable.

In all of the above working conditions it is important to operate the loader at the lowest engine R.P.M. this will reduce the heat generation in the hydraulic system and allow ground speed from loader to be manageable with reeling speed.
Relative to late model tool handlers with closed centre load sensed circuits Service Bulletin Issue 003 should be observed and the relative adjustments completed by competent and skilled Trades Person.
