Textured vases and cups

Each piece from the 'textured' range is carved by hand, meaning that each piece is a little bit different from the last. All textured range pieces are made out of a fine white porcelain slip which is clear gloss glazed on the interior to make them water-tight, but left unglazed on the exterior so you can feel the textures of the patterns that have been carved in. Each vase starts it’s life as a plain, slip-cast form with the details then carved in using a range of different tools depending on which textured is being printed. Each pattern is inspired by experimentation as well as patterns and textures found in the world around us. These vases and cups can be placed in the dishwasher when they need to be cleaned, but hand-washing is recommended if you feel uncertain
