The Tassie salt and pepper mills in light Sassafras have a clean, contemporary design that suits all dining table or kitchen styles. Tasmanian Sassafras is characterised by its pale cream tones with darker stripe and is the same timber as the increasingly rare Blackheart Sassafras. THE GRINDING MECHANISMS ARE CERAMIC AND COME WITH A 10-YEAR GUARANTEE; the coarseness of the grind can be adjusted by loosening or tightening the top while the sleek, contemporary design makes for easy handling and stability as well as beauty. These mills are hand turned and finished with 3 coats of lacquer which makes for easy care. Blackwood has the advantage of going with everything because of its classic wooden tones and harmonises well with other timbers, glass or ceramics.
