The Silky Oak Cremation Ashes Box has been carefully designed with much thought given to the practical and aesthetic aspects of something that is the final piece in an important ritual - our cherishing the memory of the loved and departed. The box is simple and graceful, both elegant and practical for cleaning purposes. The box is made with an inner wooden liner to allow for a piston fit of the two halves, the join being virtually invisible. Once the cardboard ashes box is in place inside, the snug fit will see that the contents are completely sealed to prevent accidental spilling, ensuring the ashes are secure and contained. The gently arched bases enhance the aesthetics as do the contrasting walnut splines at the corners. The golden tones and fine grain of Silky Oak in the main body of the box are a perfect setting for the top which features a highly figured book matched floating panel.
