Andromeda Industries Pty Ltd is a proudly Australian-owned manufacturing company located in Moonbi, NSW, near Tamworth. Founded by Raymond McLaren in 1962, the company has a long history of innovation in recycling, engineering, and steel cable manufacturing. Operating on a 5-hectare site, Andromeda has grown into a leader in both the Reusable Rubber Products and Plaited & Woven Steel Products industries.

Recycled Conveyor Belt Products – Andromeda Industries transforms used mine-site conveyor belts into over 100 practical, durable, and weather-resistant products, including ute mats, transport flooring, stable linings, shed floors, gym mats, and erosion control systems. Our unique splitting process and Holeybelt Machines enable sustainable, long-lasting solutions that divert thousands of tonnes of rubber from landfill.

Steel Cable & Slings Division – A world-first innovation, designed and manufactured exclusively by Andromeda Industries. For heavy lifting applications, Andromeda’s plaited and woven steel cables provide strength, reliability, and safety. Used across mining, construction, shipping, military, and industrial sectors, these cables are manufactured in-house with original designs and specialised machinery, ensuring quality and precision. Several products enjoy monopoly or near-monopoly status due to their unique engineering.

Andromeda Industries continues to combine research, machining, and product development to deliver innovative Australian-made solutions. With two main divisions and a nationwide network of over 100 distributors, Andromeda Industries supplies both resellers and direct end users across Australia and overseas, while the Engineering Division supports ongoing assembly, maintenance, and product innovation.
