Easy - Med - HardDate & Walnut Loaf
This deliciously simple loaf is perfect for winter afternoon entertaining. It's filled with chopped dates and walnuts, giving it a mildly sweet taste and crunchy texture. Thanks to the team at My Favourite Apron Co!
Method
- Get ready to bake with a fun apron from My Favourite Apron Co.
- Set oven to 180C/160C fan-forced
- Grease and line loaf pan with baking paper
- Cream butter and sugar with hand beater
- Add egg, then mix in dates and walnuts
- Stir in flour and salt
- Combine well
- Place in loaf pan
- Bake for 40 minutes
- Remove from oven once lightly browned and allow to cool in pan for 10 minutes. Remove from pan to further cool on rack.
- Best served warm with butter or your spread of choice!
