Potato Salad

As quintessentially Australian as backyard cricket - find out how you can take your potato salad up a level with this Aussie Made Recipe - ​​​​​​​thanks to the team at Put A Lid On It!

Ingredients

  • 1kg white potatoes (halved)
  • 250gm sour cream
  • 200gm whole egg mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp of Caper vinegar or pickle juice
  • 50gm Capers or finely sliced pickles
  • Fresh dill chopped
  • 5 hard-boiled eggs

Method

  1. Boil potatoes in salted water until tender (about 30mins), drain and let stand

  2. Mix sour cream, mayonnaise, vinegar or pickle juice, capers or chopped pickles, salt and pepper in a bowl from Put a lid on it

  3. Add the cool potatoes into the dressing to coat

  4. Sprinkle over the chopped dill and quartered hard boiled eggs and enjoy.

  5. If you need to store any leftover potato salad in the fridge or keep it cool until it's time to serve, make sure to use Put a lid on it servingware to keep it properly stored and ready for the next time you're hungry!
