A sweet offering full of natural Aussie goodness, this muesli slice has a crunchy-snap texture and will complement a cuppa at any time of the day or night.
A sweet offering full of natural Aussie goodness, this muesli slice has a crunchy-snap texture and will complement a cuppa at any time of the day or night.
Feel free to add some dried fruit to make it even tastier!
Ingredients
125 grams butter
2 ½ cups Get Farmed! Natural muesli
¼ cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
¼ cup honey
½ teaspoon nutmeg
¼ cup self raising flour
Method
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees (160 fan-forced)
- Line or grease a slice tray
- Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat and then add the honey and brown sugar
- In a separate bowl combine flour, muesli and spices
- Once the butter mixture has come together and the sugar has disolved, add it to the dry ingredients and mix well
- Transfer mixture to slice tray and press into corners
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown
- Slice while still warm and in tray - it will be soft to the touch
- Stand for ten minutes before transferring to wire rack to cool completely
