Green Smoothie

Want to join the green smoothie revolution? This fuit-and-veg-full recipe is the best thing to get you going in the morning.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 2 cups almond milk, unsweetened
  • 1 large apple (any variety) cored and chopped up
  • 1 banana cut into small pieces
  • ⅓ cup rolled oats
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

*It's best to use frozen fruit to make your smoothie cold. Freeze it overnight for best results otherwise throw some ice into the blender to cool it down. 

Method

  1. Blend spinach and almond milk until smooth
  2. Add remaining ingredients, and blend again. 
  3. Serve and enjoy!
