Octopus Balls

If you're making tapas, this recipe for octopus balls should be on your menu - they are oh-so-easy to prepare and are sure to excite!

Ingredients

  • 100g raw octopus
  • 1 red chilli (if you like it hot), finely chopped
  • 1 clove of garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup of parsley, finely chopped
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup of flour
  • 1 cup of breadcrumbs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking oil for deep frying

Method

  1. Mince raw octopus with chilli, garlic, parsley, salt and pepper
  2. Shape into eight balls (to allow two per person) then roll in flour, then egg then breadcrumbs
  3. Deep fry at 180C until golden brown
