Poppy and Cheese Biscuits

Looking for a tried and tested lunchbox snack? These cheese and poppy seed biscuits are sure to be a hit with the whole family. One is never enough!

Ingredients

  • 100g butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups (120g) finely  grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup plain flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup poppy seeds 

Method

  1. Combine the butter and cheese in a mixer and cream together
  2. Then add flour and salt and mix until combined
  3. Roll out into a log
  4. Roll the log in the poppy seeds
  5. Place log onto a tray and cover
  6. Refrigerate for an hour or until firm
  7. Cut into approx 5 mm slices
  8. Place on baking paper lined trays
  9. Bake for about 15 mins at 150 degrees.
  10. Let cool and enjoy!
