United Rentals' Engineered Block is a mass counterweight system with the ability to connect to the full range of United Rentals' propping products.
Each face of this block has a Shore 400 connector plate at its centre, which can be adapted to bolt into all of our propping products. The ability to bolt into these connector plates eliminates the need for constant pre- and re-drilling of holes and allows this system to maintain its integrity and mass for far longer than a traditional concrete counterweight.
The galvanised steel shell with concrete internal mass provides a robust, weather resistant counterweight anchor block that can also be stacked on top of one another.
Since bringing these into the fleet, they have become a customer favourite for counterweight applications, especially pole propping applications, as they eliminate the costly requirement for a pole grab truck.
