Australian diesel has a maximum of 10mg/kg or 10 parts per million. This means that for every kilo of diesel there can be no more than 10 milligrams of sulphur. This is called Ultra Low Sulphur Diesel and is the standard in Australia with the introduction of EN 590.
When sulphur was reduced with the introduction of EN 590, the fuel became less slippery and lacked the required lubrication. That's why we developed our additive to lubricate, condition, clean and coat the raw internal materials of the high pressure system.
