Plaztek Boat Seat Box with Esky is made from Premium Marine Board in white, screwed with SS (316) and extruded weld joints on inside for maximum strength, with a board thickness of 12.7mm it has good insulation already, or choose a Seat Box Esky Insulated with 25mm Polystyrene EPS and then lined with 12mm PVC Foam board fully welded bottom and sides, drains via external bung.
The seat mounts to 19mm Marine Board for added rigidity, a handy open shelf under for loose storage eg. Binoculars or good spot to mount fire extinguisher horizontally as well. The esky lid is 19mm thick and rebated to form a seal on to Foam Rubber strip, the hinge is SS Piano style with (316) SS Pin as well.
