Aquatic Wheelchairs

The Platypus Pool and Wet Area Wheelchair, designed and manufactured in Australia by Para Mobility, are lightweight, rustproof, self-propelled wheel chairs designed to be fully immersed in salt, chlorinated or fresh water.

The ‘Platypus’ model is used on the ground and ramps while the ‘Pelican’ model includes a lifting frame and straps to be used in conjunction with the Pelican Pool Hoist.
