Weldok® forgebar mild steel grating is constructed using an electro forgewelding process that applies pressure and heat to fuse square, twisted cross bars into load-bearing bars of various thicknesses and depths. The result is a product with a one-piece construction that complies with the requirements of AS1657.
Mild Steel Grating is commonly used for walkways in infrastructure projects, flooring and landings in commercial environments such as warehouses, data centres and manufacturing, providing a high quality Australian Made solution to provide safe walking surfaces.
All Weldlok grating/flooring products are designed and manufactured to comply with the requirements of AS1657. Slip-resistant top surfaces such as serrated edge flat bar or quartz grit are available across the range and allow for slip resistance ratings of P4 and beyond.
