The decision to use alpaca began with a desire to use a natural Australian fibre. Our goal to manufacture a truly natural resource.

Alpaca is recognised as one of the most luxurious fabrics in the world. Additionally, the numerous benefits of Alpaca wool include, its great insulating properties, softness, warmth, itch free, easy to clean and high pilling resistance. Furthermore, alpaca fibres have a positive effect on our environment being natural, biodegradable and animal friendly.

The use of alpaca fibres have allowed Lang & Duggan to offer soft, light weight and comfortable garments. Designing and producing quality alpaca knitwear since 2005, we have built our label as one of the most luxurious alpaca brands.

With so many positive characteristics, alpaca fibre is often referred to as the “fibre of the gods”. Our NICOLETTA ® brand uses the finest 18 micron fleece and is known as “Royal Alpaca”.

Our factory and showroom is located in Sydney, Australia. Lang & Duggan work with leading world class designers to develop and manufacture quality products locally.

Our garments utilise cutting edge Shima Seiki knitting machines, looms and sectional warping machine.

Our market target is leading duty free outlets, fashion, boutiques and gift shops in Australia and export markets.
