1836 Merino is filled with pure fine Kangaroo Island Merino wool, graded by micron count to deliver the softest, most refined sleep surface in our range. Micron grading measures the diameter of each individual fibre — the finer the micron, the softer the wool feels against your skin, and the more precisely it responds to your body's warmth through the night. Not all Merino meets this standard. Ours does.

Fine Merino fibres trap tiny pockets of air that insulate with remarkable efficiency, while breathing freely to prevent the heat build-up synthetic fills can't avoid. Wool also absorbs and releases moisture naturally, keeping you dry and comfortable through the night.
