Glass of Fire by Christine Stewart is a specialist in dichroic glass jewellery and fused and slumped art glass.
Producing a unique and vibrantly coloured range of dichroic glass jewellery - pendants, earrings and also art glass plates, bowls and large statement art glass platters.
Each piece is individually kiln formed by Christine in her state of the art workshop and studio on the Mid North Coast of NSW, Australia. Firing up to 9 kilns daily using a process known as 'glass fusing and slumping' to create her popular designs. This skilful combination of glass a heat is one that is both an artform and a science. The materials used to create both the jewellery and the platters are formed using a chemistry of natural elements of the earth creating the glass which ultimately the artist transforms into pieces of artistic beauty.
Christine is an internationally recognised artist who is the recipient of numerous international art glass awards. Her work is eagerly sort after throughout Australia and globally.
