The RPT (Robotic Profile Tower) is a ground breaking piece of technology developed for companies needing to store long lengths of material such as pipe, bars, profiles and sheets. Whether it be aluminium, steel, timber, copper or plastic, the RPT system assists in the manual handling of these awkward lengths. Where a standard cantilever rack or A-frame rack is traditionally used, there tends to be triple handling in terms of unloading from a truck, breaking the packs and then standing them upright into an A-frame or forking onto a cantilever rack for later use. Not only is the process of A-frame and cantilever racking time consuming, it can be very dangerous. These systems can take up significate floorspace as well.
