Spring Holder - Horse Float Tail Gate
Spring holder suits horse float tailgates and the spring in place when lowering the tailgate.
As a result of installers preference to custom fit holders, we allowed generous dimensions on the left and right holder.
The holder is purposefully not cut to fit as we found many installers like to custom fit in their own style.
The holders themselves are 10mm plate steel. The bar across the holders is K1045 medium tensile axle steel.
Note: Fits all Couplemate tailgate springs up to 19mm.

Install holders on either side of the tailgate when necessary. We recommend using 2 springs for heavier tailgates.
Noteworthily is the well designed tight fit between holder and solid bar. If you require custom hinges to fit inside pipe, send us an email.
It is important to weigh tailgates before purchasing springs. An old set of bathroom scales do a fine job.
