Why did we create a fertiliser in a ‘teabag’?
We developed Biolink Brew Compost Tea Bags to help home gardeners grow nutritious vegetables and fruit trees and all types of flowers and shrubs. And they don’t just help increase the nutrient and water-holding capacity of the soil. They also promote root development. This helps plants resist bacterial disease and cope better in a dry climate.
1. They’re CONVENIENT. There’s no need to measure the quantity you need for each use. Just steep one tea bag per 9-10 litre watering can for up to 6 hours. Your brew is then ready to use.
2. They’re WATER-SOLUBLE. We spoke to a lot of home gardeners who were finding that more granular fertilisers were clogging up their watering cans. Using our Biolink Brew Compost Tea Bags means that you have a ready-to-use, soluble ‘brew’ that’s safe and easy to use for both potted plants and larger gardens.
3. NO WASTE! Once you’ve used your ‘teabag’, it can be mixed in with your compost or dug into your garden near plant roots, creating a readily available source of nutrients.
