The Streamline Moderne Caged Wall Light

Our Streamline Industrial Wall Light is modelled after it’s namesake, the late Art Deco design movement ‘Streamline Moderne‘ from the 1930’s. Streamline Modern emerged with an appreciation for long horizontal lines, nautical themes, and an emphasis on curving forms and we’ve integrated this style into our product design. You’ll see the curving forms on the top of our wall sconce, using three seemingly aerodynamic layers as the basis of the design. Minimalist in horizontal flair, while keeping obvious nautical design elements (such as ship lamps) utilized in the guard and glass. If you have an appreciation for the Art Deco movement or simply vintage styling, the Streamline will do wonders for your own home. Our guards are easily threaded into the base for quick access to the glass and bulb so you may change the light-bulb without tools. We prefer the prismatic or frosted glass where using CFL bulbs, clear glass will provide an interesting focal point when using standard incandescent bulbs or otherwise LED Filament Bulbs.
