These capes are light and breezy to wear, but have the warmth of being pure Australian Merino. They pair perfectly with both jeans and dresses, bringing comfort without weight
Before weaving, I dye the warp threads. This may be with natural indigo or another natural dye like madder. I also use the flora of our local environment. Each dye bath comes out slightly differently, making each cape unique and individual. It is a completely natural process, using only leaves, water and heat. Some pieces may have highlights of coral, fuschia or even indigo, which will be from the intentionally left residual natural dye of a previous dye bath.
Gently hand wash in warm water. Do not wring. Can be ironed with a protective cotton tea towel laid over it.
