Australian Desert Peach is a bush plant found in semi-arid regions of Australia. The plant produces a bright red edible berry that contains some great properties for skin and hair care.
Australian Desert Peach is beneficial in natural skin and hair care products because of two main factors; the antioxidant properties from the high vitamin C content and moisturising properties from the essential fatty acids. Whilst vitamin C protects from damage and assists in collagen production, the essential fatty acids help to moisturise by developing the natural oil barrier, locking in moisture.
