Andent is a Melbourne, Victorian based dental laboratory servicing the Australian dental industry. Founded as a family owned business, we have 3 generations of experience in the dental industry. Our expertise is in the fabrication of restorations for dental prosthetics, specialising in implant, ceramic and crown and bridge procedures.

Andent was the first mail order commercial dental laboratory in Australia and came into the market with a very distinct aggressive approach. The approach was innovative and unique to its time, and changed the face of modern dental laboratories today. It allowed time to concentrate on; time in motion techniques and technological advances in the manufacturing process and to specialise in only high quality basic crown and bridge procedures.

Andent is well known for introducing new materials and techniques into Australia, through heavy investment in research and development. In many ways Andent pioneered the way the market was perceived and essentially what the target market still wants today – price, consistency, fast turnaround times and quality assurance.

The introduction of CAD/CAM has seen an increase in new materials, better consistency of products, higher aesthetics and greater assurance on longevity. In 1996, Andent had only around 3% scanning, designing and milling of dental restorations, and today this figure is around 98% - only indirect posts (RCT) are still cast the traditional way. CAD/CAM has always been about attention to detail, commitment to quality and the skills that are required.
