AKD's termi-blue Plantation Pine Framing provides added insurance to the specifier, builder and home owner that the structural integrity of the building will not be compromised by termite attack.

The timber is treated to H2F standard (internal framing) and is compliant with AS 1604 –preservative treated timber and is a termite resistant building material consistent with both AS 3660.1 – Protection of buildings from termites, and the Building Code of Australia. It is blue in colour in line with industry practice to help identification.

H2F treatment is appropriate for use in Australia south of the Tropic of Capricorn. Because of the different insect species found exclusively in tropical areas, different timber treatments are required in areas north of the Tropic of Capricorn.
