The Australian Made Campaign is continuing to work strategically to link manufacturers with major projects through Industry Capability Network (ICN). It is doing this as part of the Federal Government's Buy Australian at Home and Abroad (BAHA) initiative.
In recent months, the focus of this partnership has been on education. Australian Made and ICN recently partnered, to provide Australian Made licensees with access to a live, interactive webinar. Over 80 businesses registered for the webinar which aimed at helping businesses make the most of the ICN Gateway and access major projects and new business opportunities.
“We are endeavouring to provide Australian Made licensees with the latest resources and information to assist them in accessing major project work and business opportunities,” Australian Made Supply Chain Advisor, Ben Lazzaro, said.
Further to this, ICN has developed a range of step-by-step video tutorials to help companies get the most out of the ICN Gateway. There are videos to help businesses set up their profiles, register expressions of interest, search for projects and search for suppliers. To view the videos, visit www.ICNGateway.com.au and click on ‘video tutorials’ in the ‘Supplier search’ or ‘Project search’ boxes.
