This month, Australian Made was proud to be a major sponsor of the ICN at 40 event held at Parliament House in Canberra on Wednesday 14 August.

The event celebrated 40 years of the Industry Capability Network and its outstanding contributions to industry collaboration and local business success and brought together key stakeholders, government officials, and industry leaders to honour ICN’s legacy and look forward to a bright future.

The evening was a great success culminating in the launch of The Green Report, ICN: Past Present and Future, authored by Dr Phillip Toner and Emeritus Professor Roy Green.

The Green Report identifies many challenges confronting SMEs in securing successful contracts. It outlines how addressing these barriers will build a stronger manufacturing sector, bolster the government’s policy initiatives associated with a 'Future Made in Australia' and reduce Australia’s reliance on foreign supply chains.
