Australian International Furniture Exhibition, 11-13 July 2014

Australian Made Campaign Associate, the Australian Furniture Association, will be hosting the Australian International Furniture Exhibition (AIFE), in July. Australian Made is proud to support the event, which will bring Australia’s leading furniture and furnishing manufacturers together under one roof, from 11-13 July.

The Royal Exhibition Building will transform into the largest ‘display home’ in Australia for the event, which will be open to the public for the exhibition of ‘Australian furniture for every room in the world’.

For those with an interest in the history of Australian furniture manufacturing, AIFE Curator, Scott Lewis, has secured iconic Australian designs, prototypes and original pieces from the past 110 years for public display at the exhibition.

In addition, for the first time ever, all Australian Furniture Industry Awards nominated pieces will be on public display, providing the public an unprecedented preview of Australia’s largest and most prestigious Furniture Design and Manufacturing Award.
