Now in its 62nd year, the Australian Export Awards is one of the country’s most prestigious and longest-running business awards programs. Since 1963, it has recognised the contributions of more than 2,000 Australian businesses that have achieved international success in a broad range of sectors.
Several local manufacturers have been nominated for this year’s awards, including Australian Made licensees Advatek Lighting, HiveIQ, Royal Poly Products, SDI Limited, Australian Blue Cypress, REDARC, Lightning Protection International, Care Essentials and Clean & Pure.
Australia’s Minister for Trade and Tourism, Senator the Hon Don Farrell, said finalists have been recognised for their outstanding export achievements.
Senator Farrell said, “These finalists represent a diverse range of sectors and industries and have made a significant contribution to our national economy, creating jobs and opportunities in our cities, regions, and rural areas.
Every product and service that we export to the world represents thousands of stable, well-paying Australian jobs. Collectively, this year’s finalists employed more than 24,300 people and generated close to $8 billion in export earnings last financial year.”
Winners will be announced at the 62nd Australian Export Awards National Ceremony on 20 November 2024.
