Use the power of the logo
Displaying the iconic kangaroo logo on your packaging is the best way to communicate your genuine Australian Made credentials to shoppers. With 99% recognition and 93% trust, the Australian Made logo is a powerful marketing tool both domestically and internationally.
The Australian Made logo is a licensed country of origin symbol, and there are rules about how it can be depicted. Make sure that your packaging is compliant with our Style & Marketing Guide by following this handy list of do's and don'ts.
DO:
- Read through the Australian Made Style and Marketing Guide. This is your go-to resource to check that your packaging is compliant.
- Display the logo prominently on packaging of licensed Australian Made products. Consumers are looking for Australian products — help them find yours!
- Depict the logo in any two-colour combination. It is highly recommended to use the corporate green and gold wherever possible.
- Ensure there the minimum clear space surrounding the logo.
- Use the approved descriptor (Australian Made / Australian Grown / Product of Australia).
- Download image files of the logo from your Licensee Dashboard (Under Licensee Resources, click the 'Logo artwork' button)
DON'T:
- Display the logo on or near products that do not have a valid license. The Australian Made logo is a certification trade mark and can only be used on products registered with Australian Made Campaign Limited.
- Use the logo to make general statements about your company or product range if only some of your products are licensed to use the logo (i.e. on homepages of websites, tender documents)
- Alter the logo. You cannot display just the kangaroo shape, distort the logo shape or separate individual elements of the logo. The logo can only be used intact.
- Use the old logo. The current version has slightly rounded edges on the triangle.
