The Australian Made Campaign (AMCL) is changing the way products are categorised on the Australian Made website. A new set of sector-specific categories that better reflect global standards are being introduced to help consumers easily find genuine Aussie products, while providing licensees with improved categorisation flexibility.
Importantly, once implemented, the category changes will not affect how licensee products are found via the main search bar on the Australian Made website. However, visitors to the website will now have the option to search for Aussie products within more specific product category fields.
As an Australian Made licensee, you will be able to manage your product categorisation via the password-protected licensee dashboard on the Australian Made website. The new product category system will provide licensees with an expanded range of sector-specific category options to choose from. You will be able to assign all licensed products with a 'primary', 'secondary' and 'tertiary' category.
All products in the Australian Made database have already been incorporated into the new system so you are not required to do anything.
We anticipate these changes will go live at the end of the month.
