The 2026 Australian Manufacturing Awards took place this month, bringing together more than 600 guests from across the manufacturing sector, including business leaders, industry representatives and government officials.
Hosted by Industry Update and supported by the Victorian Government, the awards recognise the people and businesses that drive the Australian manufacturing industry.
This year’s event at Crown Melbourne featured a keynote address from Senator the Hon Tim Ayres, Minister for Industry and Innovation and Minister for Science.

The 2026 Australian Manufacturing Awards introduced the new Australian Made Manufacturer of the Year award, sponsored by Australian Made Campaign (AMCL) and presented by Australian Made Head of Sales and Partnerships, Chris Morgan. Open to Australian Made licensees, each shortlisted company was required to manufacture its products in Australia, and then scored against a judging framework.
