This month, Australian Made licensee Bodd celebrated the opening of its new manufacturing headquarters in Prahran, Victoria. The new facility includes larger research labs and workspaces that will be used to continue developing Bodd’s locally made scanning equipment.

Bodd is a pioneering data and insights company, making scanning and processing technologies that capture rich human body data. Founded in Melbourne, its cutting-edge 3D body scanning technology captures more data in 60 seconds than any other product globally and is used to tackle waste caused by alterations and returns on ill-fitting clothes.
The multi-award-winning company has partnered with Bosch Australia and the Bosch Australia Manufacturing Solutions (BAMS) division to manufacture, distribute, and provide in-field technical servicing and support for all of its hardware units. Bodd’s 3D body scanning equipment now operates in more than 30 markets and is looking to grow into new markets with the increased capability at its new headquarters.

Bodd’s new facility opening was attended by representatives from the Victorian Government, Australian Made Campaign, the Australian Sports Commission and the Australian Institute of Sport and others, who heard from the Hon. Colin Brooks about the importance of manufacturing in Victoria, and why customers around the world read that as a mark of quality.
