Australian Made Week will return from 18 to 24 May 2026, for its sixth consecutive year, highlighting the best of Australian manufacturers, makers and growers, with a much-loved Aussie funny man and media personality set to be unveiled as the new official Australian Made Week Ambassador.

Australian Made Week showcases the innovation, creativity, craftsmanship and grit of local makers and growers by encouraging shoppers and businesses alike to support Australian products carrying the green-and-gold kangaroo logo.

This year also marks a special milestone for the Australian Made campaign and its iconic logo as it turns 40 – an accomplishment that will be celebrated throughout Australian Made Week.

Today, Australian Made remains the most trusted country-of-origin symbol, with 93 per cent of Australians trusting the brand. A Roy Morgan study commissioned for last year’s campaign also found that:

  • 84% of Australians are more likely to buy a product if they know its Australian Made
  • 73% of Australians want to buy more Australian-made products to reduce Australia’s reliance on imports.

Additionally, the research found that if every Australian household spent an extra $10 a week on Australian Made products, it would contribute to an extra $5 billion generated for Australia’s economy and creation of an extra 10,000 jobs.

Australian Made Chief Executive Ben Lazzaro said, “When consumers choose Australian Made, they’re actively supporting local economies, strengthening communities and helping Australian businesses thrive. Supporting local has never been more important.

Australian Made Week is about  calling on shoppers and businesses to back the home team and look for the Australian Made logo, because Australian Made makes Australia.”

Joining the ranks of Ariarne Titmus OAM, Jessica Mauboy, Ash Barty, Adam Liaw and Elyse Knowles, the new Australian Made Week Ambassador will be a voice to encourage Australians to make informed purchasing decisions, and celebrate the talents of our local manufacturers. Make sure to keep an eye out for the reveal of the Australian Made Week 2026 Ambassador, who will be announced in the coming months.
