Australian Made Week 2025 was all about placing Aussie makers high on the podium and celebrating the achievements of local manufacturers across the country.
The Australian Made Campaign would like to thank everyone who was involved in this year’s campaign - whether you were a business sharing your manufacturing story, an organisation championing local industry, a shopper who purchased something locally made, or an everyday Aussie who shared your love for Australian Made products!

Australian Made Week TV commercial feat. Ariarne Titmus OAM
This year’s Australian Made Week TV commercial took us back to a world of green and gold, with Olympic champion and Australian Made Week Ambassador, Ariarne Titmus OAM, encouraging everyone to buy locally made products. Watch the video.
Australian Made Week event at Harvey Norman
On Monday 12 May, Cairns turned green and gold as Australian Made Retail Partner, Harvey Norman hosted a special Australian Made Week event with Ariarne Titmus OAM. Fans enjoyed a ‘meet and greet’ with Ariarne and heard from a passionate panel about the importance of supporting Australian Made businesses. Watch the video.
Local business stories in The Age & SMH special feature
On Sunday 18 May, The Age and Sydney Morning Herald published a special Australian Made Week feature. The newspaper pullouts featured more than 30 Australian Made licensees - each with unique stories, challenges, successes, and never-ending passion for making things right here in Australia. Australian Made Week campaign launch at Volvo
On Monday 19 May, Ariarne Titmus traded the pool for the driver’s seat, behind the wheel of a custom-named, locally-made Volvo truck - ‘Arnie’, to officially launch Australian Made Week, celebrating Aussie toughness, resilience and the power of backing local makers and manufacturers. Volvo Group Australia, which manufactures Volvo and Mack Trucks in Brisbane, hosted the launch event, urging Australians to prioritise locally-made products. Watch the video.
Nissan Casting Australia celebrates Australian Made accreditation
On Tuesday 20 May, Nissan Australia held a special event to celebrate its Australian Made certification. Nissan Casting Australia carries the famous green and gold kangaroo logo on components made at its casting plant in Dandenong South, Victoria, after more than 40 years of operation.
Hump-day celebrations on Today Show weather crosses
On Wednesday 21 May, Tim Davies took the Today Show on a trip to Harrisville, Queensland, to learn all about Australian Made Week. Hosted at the Summer Land Camels farm, several Australian Made businesses showed off their amazing products in an exciting television segment. Watch the video.
Special event with Business Sydney and Senator the Hon Tim Ayres
On Friday 23 May, Business Sydney and Australian Made hosted a special breakfast event to celebrate Australian Made Week and highlight the role of local manufacturing. The keynote address was given by Senator the Hon. Tim Ayres, Minister for Industry and Innovation and Minister for Science, who highlighted the significance of an Australian-made future. Read more.
Australian Made licensees shine on the radio and in the news
Following the success of last year’s shows, SEN replaced its 4.55pm national news bulletin with a dedicated Australian Made Week show. Running Monday to Friday, the show profiled eight incredible Australian Made who each shared the story of how their business came to be, and why making products in Australia is important to them. Listen here.
Throughout the week, you might have seen Australian Made licensees popping up in other publications like New Idea, AuManufacturing, The Land, various radio outlets, and even a special Nine Radio giveaway series!
Famous Aussies in green and gold
It was great to see famous Aussies donning the iconic green and gold colours to promote Australian Made Week on social media, including Bianca Chatfield, Archie Thompson, Corey Parker, Bronte Campbell, Jamie Durie, Jack Riewoldt and Anneli Maley, Jase Hawkins, Lauren Phillips, Clint Stanaway and of course - Ariarne Titmus!
Australian Made products put on the podium
The Australian Made influencer project put locally made products on the podium for all to see, with 40 Australian Made licensees generously donating their goods to this special project. The boxes covered ten different categories – from gardening and cleaning to eco-conscious, camping and more. Read more.
#AustralianMadeWeek takes over social media
Everyone’s feed turned green and gold for an entire week, with hashtag #AustralianMadeWeek trending on social media! Vlogs, selfies, workplace celebrations, discount codes, behind-the-scenes videos and more – hundreds of genuine Australian Made businesses joined in the celebrations.
