The very first Australian Manufacturing Awards will take place in Sydney on 23 October 2025, and the Australian Made Campaign is proud to be a major sponsor of this exciting new industry event.
Founded by Industry Update, one of Australia’s leading manufacturing magazines, the awards are designed to shine a spotlight on the vital role manufacturing plays in the national economy. After 30 years of covering the sector and engaging with industry leaders, Industry Update created this event to celebrate and reward the outstanding work done by Australian manufacturers.
One of the key accolades on the night will be the Australian Made Award, open exclusively to Australian Made Campaign licensees and aimed at showcasing local manufacturing excellence.
Licensees are encouraged to nominate not only for the Australian Made Award, but also across a wide range of categories, covering small to medium-sized businesses, start-ups, defence, supply chains, advanced manufacturing, and more. Individual awards, such as the Rising Star (for manufacturers under 35) and apprentice categories, will also be presented.
Nominations are now open via the Industry Update website, and manufacturers are encouraged to nominate themselves or peers who deserve recognition.
The black-tie gala will be held at the iconic Sofitel Sydney Wentworth, with a strong lineup of industry sponsors already on board and excitement building across the sector.
