The 2025 Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) Gala Dinner brought together more than 500 business leaders, innovators and policymakers for an evening dedicated to celebrating the strength and resilience of Australian enterprise.

Held in Canberra’s Parliament House, the event marked the culmination of the ACCI Business Leaders’ Summit, providing a platform for reflection, recognition, and forward-looking discussion.

Australian Made was proud to sponsor ACCI’s Gala Dinner again this year, reinforcing its commitment to supporting local businesses and highlighting the value of products made in Australia.

Under the theme ‘Business in Balance’, the event emphasised that the success of Australian businesses relies on the alignment of people, processes and purpose. Delegates explored workforce innovation, industrial relations, and diversity and inclusion, recognising that a skilled and engaged workforce is central to long-term productivity and growth.

In a memorable moment, Andrew McKellar, ACCI Chief Executive and Australian Made Board Member, presented the keynote speaker, the Hon. Dr Jim Chalmers MP, Treasurer, with a specially commissioned Australian Made cricket bat from Australian Made licensee Gray-Nicolls, named ‘The Chalmers’.

In his address, the Treasurer highlighted the importance of backing local industry, saying, “I’ve made, and we’ve made a deliberate effort to put Australian businesses at the very centre of our policy development.

Not just because we know our future growth depends on your strength, resilience and ingenuity. But because we know your involvement at every stage, your insights and ideas, give us the best chance of seizing the opportunities in front of us at a really important time for our economy, in the world.”

The Gala Dinner concluded as a powerful reminder of the value of buying and supporting Australian Made, celebrating the people, innovation and pride that drive the nation’s enterprises forward.
