This year’s Australian Made Week TV commercial takes us back to a world of green and gold, with Olympic champion Ariarne Titmus encouraging everyone to buy locally made products.
Since Australian Made Week is all about being authentic and genuine, we couldn’t create a new TV commercial without including authentic products from local manufacturers.
Read on to find out more about the businesses that were a part of this production!
Haymes Paint
Once again, our vivid green and gold sets were coated in custom paint mixes from Haymes Paint. Proudly Australian Made since 1935, Haymes Paint creates innovative paint and coating products in Ballarat.
Maxiblock
Maxiblock’s iconic wavy bottles can be seen on the shopkeeper’s shelf! A proudly independent family business, Maxiblock has been providing Aussies with quality sunscreen since the 1970s.
Mamave
Mamave’s bottles of moisturiser showed up and were coated in gold. Mamave is a scientifically formulated skincare brand for mums and bubs that manufactures its products in Melbourne.
Tasic Pure Oils
Seen in their sleek green packaging behind Ariarne, Tasic Pure Oils’ hair care system is a special blend of two of the most nourishing ingredients found in nature - aloe vera and coconut.
ATKM
Bright in yellow on the top shelf, ATKM’s Standard Mini bag is a design statement that definitely stands out. Based in Melbourne, ATKM has been handcrafting bags and carry goods for over 20 years!
State of Escape
State of Escape’s iconic Tote graced the screen in a pop of yellow, paired with its added pouch. The female-owned and operated company makes its products to order by hand, maximising yield and minimising waste.
Retro Duo
The Archie Rocket Floor Lamp required no colour correction – it was upholstered in the perfect shade of gold! Handcrafted from sustainably sourced Tasmanian Oak, it’s a picture of unique craftsmanship.
Katie Perry
With her Merino wool scarves hanging off the wall, Katie Perry’s apparel added some soft textures to the shot. Since 2006, the local company has been committed to making quality clothing in Australia.
Bendigo Pottery
Crafted with locally made clay, Bendigo Pottery pieces are as beautiful as they are functional. Established in 1858, Bendigo Pottery is home to six generations of Australian makers.
Quatro Design
The Konika planter from Quatro Design was the finishing touch! Quatro has been a leading Australian manufacturer of Glassfibre Reinforced Concrete (GRC) products since 2004.
The Real McCaul Leathergoods
Although they unfortunately didn’t make the final cut of the TVC, we’d like to highlight the extraordinary bags provided by The Real McCaul. The family-owned business sources sustainable and durable materials to make sure their leathergoods last for life.
Market Stall Co
Market Stall Co is a leading manufacturer of timber-based retail displays and infrastructure, specialising in flat packable and freestanding units which are not only ideal for retail spaces, but designed with events, expos and with pop-ups in mind.
